TV ad
in defense of John Bolton's nomination as U.N. ambassador:
The ad divides political leaders into two kinds and provides visual examples for each category. It goes like this: Are you sick and tired of politicians who blame their own country for all the world's problems? 
We need leaders who will stand up for American values, like John Bolton... 
Now, we all know how President Carter, Senator Kerry and Senator Kennedy despise their own country, while President Reagan and Col. North are shining exemplars of the profound allegiance to America's Constitution that the ad strives to associate with John "I don't do carrots" Bolton. But what's the bottom guy doing in this picture? Does Senator Lieberman approve this message? |
